BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women’s tennis team earned the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team award and saw seven Panthers named Scholar-Athletes by the organization. This is the third consecutive year BSC has received the team award.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men’s tennis team saw three Panthers named Scholar-Athletes by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. Scholar-athletes are varsity letter winners who have a 3.5 GPA or higher for the current academic year and at least two semesters at their current institution.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – For the past three years, Birmingham-Southern football has participated in Be The Match to help recruit potential bone marrow donors. This year, the Panthers partnered with the Andy Talley Bone Marrow Foundation for a “Get in the Game. Save a Life.” event and recruited 54 new donors to the Be The Match Registry.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association named Daniel and Gleeson of Birmingham-Southern women’s lacrosse to the Division III Academic Honor Roll. Student-athletes must maintain a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher to be recognized.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Birmingham-Southern swimming and diving saw four named Scholar All-Americans by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America. The honor recognizes student-athletes who maintained a 3.5 GPA or higher and competed at the NCAA Championships.
