BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women’s basketball team improved to 3-0 on the year with its 84-72 win over Covenant College Saturday afternoon to close out play in the 2019 Richard Dardenne Memorial Classic in Bill Battle Coliseum. BSC (3-0) saw two drop more than 20 points in the win.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern football team posted its most wins since 2012 after topping Southern Athletic Association rival Millsaps College 30-20 Saturday afternoon in Krulak Stadium. It was senior day for BSC (7-3), who finished in third place in the league with a 6-2 record. This season marked the most SAA wins in program history.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Raleigh Schmidt (Madison, Ala./James Clemens HS) is a senior cross country runner who radiates the spirit of adventure. He grew up in Madison, Alabama and is studying religion with a minor in biology, which he admits is a bit off the beaten path. “My dad wasn’t even supportive of it at first, but he’s come around now,” Schmidt said. The goal of this interesting combination of studies is to work as a humanitarian.
