BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America has named both the Birmingham-Southern men’s and women’s teams to its Scholar All-America team.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Birmingham-Southern men’s basketball alum Tyler Marsh (’10) had a dream come true when the Toronto Raptors won the 2019 NBA Championship. Marsh, an assistant video coordinator for the organization, celebrated on the court with the team after their game six win.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Senior Davis Thompson (Mountain Lakes, N.J./Mountain Lakes HS) made Birmingham-Southern men’s lacrosse history by becoming the program’s first All-American. The midfielder was named an honorable mention All-American by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southern Athletic Association announced its 2019 Spring Academic Honor Roll and Birmingham-Southern Athletics had 128 student-athletes recognized. To earn the honor, student-athletes must have a 3.25 grade point average or higher at the end of the semester.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Seniors A.J. Hunt (Memphis, Tenn./Memphis Univ. School) and Tyler Wise (Birmingham, Ala./Spain Park HS) were named 2019 Rawlings Gold Glove Award winners as selected by the American Baseball Coaches Association. Birmingham-Southern baseball is the only program to have two players represented on the nine-man team. The Panthers have had three honorees during their time in NCAA Division III.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Birmingham-Southern athletics saw 197 student-athletes named to the Dean’s List during the 2018-19 academic year. 94 earned the honor in both the fall and spring semesters.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – No. 15 Birmingham-Southern baseball could not find an answer to a late rally from No. 6 Chapman University Tuesday afternoon in game two of the 2019 NCAA Division III National Championship series as they fell 11-0 in Veterans Memorial Stadium. BSC (42-15) set a new program record for wins and finished the highest any team ever has in the Division III era.
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – No. 15 Birmingham-Southern baseball fell 6-4 to No 6 Chapman University in game one of the 2019 NCAA Division III Championship series Tuesday afternoon. BSC (42-14) will need to defeat Chapman in game two to force a decisive game three tomorrow. Game two will begin at approximately 3 p.m. The loss was BSC’s first since May 18th.
