BSC to host 2010 AHSAA Track and Field Championships

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Birmingham-Southern College, in partnership with the Birmingham Convention and Visitors Bureau, will host the 2010 Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) Track and Field Championships for Classes 1A, 2A, and 3A, April 30 and May 1 at Panther Stadium.
"We are extremely excited to be hosting the AHSAA State Track and Field meet on our campus next spring,” Athletic Director Joe Dean, Jr., said. “This is a wonderful opportunity for Birmingham-Southern and the City of Birmingham to showcase our facilities and community to over 1,000 high school student-athletes, their parents, coaches, and fans."
