In doubles action, senior Michael Locandro and sophomore Richard Pearlman lost 8-3 at the number one spot, senior J.C. Freeman and John Zukley lost 8-3 at the second spot, and freshmen Reed Pilling and Sawyer Voges dropped 8-4 at the third spot.

"Michael [Locandro] really played well and made it very compeditive at the one spot," head coach Paul Rosner said. "He has come back in good shape and should have another good season. We were a little out-matched but everyone had a good attitude towards setting up for a good season."
