
JACKSON, Miss. – The No. 2 Birmingham-Southern baseball team moved to 29-6 overall after splitting with Millsaps College Saturday. The Panthers took game one 13-12, before falling 4-1 in the finale. BSC is now 16-2 against Southern Athletics Association opponents.
Jacob Drescher (Auburn, Ala./Auburn HS) and David Scott (Atlanta, Ga./Woodward Academy) had three-hit days to lead the team offensively. Ross James (Cape Girardeau, Mo./Notre Dame Regional HS) earned the win. And Rich Misischia (Dothan, Ala./Regis HS) picked up his second save of the season.
The Panthers return home for their final conference series of the year April 22-23. They host Sewanee in a three-series that starts with a doubleheader at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
