Garfinkle sees improvement in Friday’s morning practice
BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—The BSC football team had a productive practice this morning, going out in full pads for the second time this preseason.
"We improved on yesterday’s practice," Head Coach Eddie Garfinkle said. "This morning’s practice was a good showing. We worked on third down and goal line situations, and scrimmaged at the end. The number one offense is way ahead of the number one defense right now. The starting offensive line is having a good camp, led by seniors Darius Dalton and John Michael Falligant."
The Panthers have a practice in shells this afternoon that is exclusive to the kicking game, and will hold an inter-squad scrimmage tomorrow morning, followed by its annual Family Day. BSC kicks off the season at LaGrange on Sept. 3, and is at home against Huntingdon on Sept. 10.
