ATLANTA—Junior tailback Joseph Moultrie has been named the inaugural Southern Athletic Association Football Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced today.
Moultrie (Birmingham, Ala./Huffman HS) scored twice in BSC's 45-38 win against Huntingdon on Saturday, including a record-breaking 99-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. He ran for 111 yards total on 11 carries, averaging 10.1 yards per carry. Against LaGrange on Sept. 1, he had one touchdown and 69 rushing yards on four carries.
Moultrie and the Panthers return home this weekend to face Ave Maria University at noon on Saturday in Panther Stadium.
