Football moves to 16th, 19th in national polls

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Birmingham-Southern moved down a few slots in this week's national polls, falling to 16th in the D3football.com Top 25 and 19th in the American Football Coaches Association Coaches' Poll.

The Panthers suffered their first loss of the season this past weekend, falling on the road to No. 6 Wesley College, 26-17, in Dover, Del. BSC is the only Southern Athletic Association team ranked in either poll.

BSC returns home this weekend to take on Trinity University, who has been receiving votes in both polls this season. Kick-off is set for this Saturday, Oct. 13, at noon in Panther Stadium.
