Nine Panthers Named to NFF Honor Society

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern football team saw nine Panthers recognized as National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society members.  The 13th class of the society is comprised of college football players from all division.

Members must have maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college careers who have completed their final year of playing eligibility, and been starters or significant contributors throughout the 2018 season.

The group is headlined Southern Athletic Association All-Conference selections Mitchell Milovich (Snellville, Ga./Greater Atlanta Christian School) and Matthew Byers (Pelham, Ala./John Carroll Catholic HS), as well as, CoSIDA Academic All-American Trent Rigby (Tyrone, Ga./Sandy Creek HS).  Byers was also named CoSIDA Academic All-District.
