MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Birmingham-Southern men's basketball team dropped to 10-14 overall on Sunday afternoon, dropping a Southern Athletic Association game to Rhodes 115-107.
The Panthers were led by senior Harrison Deneka (Memphis, Tenn./Christian Brothers HS) who led all scorers with 30 points, added five assists and grabbed 15 rebounds. It was Deneka's 30-point performance this season.
The Lynx were in front of the Panthers for most of the game. BSC took its first and only lead after a Deneka layup put the Panthers up 59-58 with 18:16 to go in the second half. Rhodes quickly retook the lead on the ensuing possession and did not surrender it for the remainder of the game.

Birmingham-Southern will wrap up the regular season on the road at Millsaps on Saturday, Feb. 17. Tip-off for the game is scheduled for 3 p.m.
