Panthers Drop Exhibition Game at Alabama State

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's basketball team fell to Alabama State University 86-44 in an exhibition game at Dunn-Oliver Acadome on Wednesday night.

The loss to the Division I Hornets does not affect the Panthers record or statistics.

Junior guard Calvin Bak (Muscle Shoals, Ala./Muscle Shoals HS) led BSC with 12 points off four three-pointers.

Senior Rich Yancey (Newnan, Ga./The Heritage School) led the Panthers in rebounds with seven and sophomore Matt Gonda (Roswell, Ga./Roswell HS) led the team with three assists.

Birmingham-Southern will return to the Hilltop for its next game against Huntingdon College in Bill Battle Coliseum on Friday, November 16 at 7 p.m.
