BSC Comes in Eighth at Berry Tournament

ROME, Ga. – The Birmingham-Southern men's golf team finished eighth at the Berry/Chick-fil-A Collegiate Invitational on Tuesday.

The Panthers finished +30 as a team, shooting a 606 in the two-round tournament.

Junior Thomas Iturbe (Mobile, Ala./UMS-Wright HS) and senior Colin MacLane (Oviedo, Fla./The Master's Academy) finished in the top 20.

Iturbe was BSC's top golfer, tying for 13th place at +4 with rounds of 73 and 75. MacLane finished one shot back of Iturbe at +5 with rounds of 73 and 76. He tied for 19th.

The Chick-fil-A Collegiate was Birmingham-Southern's final tournament of the fall. The Panthers will hit the links again after the turn of the calendar in 2019.
