SAA Tournament: BSC Ends Championship in Fifth Place

DICKSON, Tenn. – The Birmingham-Southern men's golf team finished fifth at the 2019 Southern Athletic Association Championship Tournament on Sunday.

The Panthers shot a three-round 900 as a team, ending the tournament at 36-over par.

Junior Blake Schambeau (Hoover, Ala./Hoover HS) was BSC's leader in the championships, earning All-SAA Second Team honors with a ninth-place finish. Schambeau shot rounds of 73, 72 and 75 to finish four-over par.

Senior Colin MacLane (Oviedo, Fla./The Master's Academy) finish inside the top 25, tying for 23rd place at 14-over.
