Ivie, Trockenbrot named SCAC Players of the Week

SUWANEE, Ga.—Sophomore Matt Ivie and junior Tim Trockenbrot have been named Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week for games played March March 14-20, the league office announced today.

Ivie, an attacker from Alpharetta, Ga., scored 15 goals over three games this week, with five against Plattsburgh State, four against Millsaps, and six against Hendrix. He also had two assists for 32 points on the week. Ivie also recorded 25 shots-on-goal, nine ground balls, and had four caused turnovers.

Tim Trockenbrot
Trockenbrot, a goalkeeper from Roswell, Ga., helped Birmingham-Southern to two big conference wins this week, including a 23-0 shutout of Millsaps on Friday. He gave up only two goals in 79 minutes of play for a 1.53 GAA and made six saves while facing 14 shots.

The Panther men's lacrosse team is back in action at home this Thursday at 7 p.m. against Fontbonne University.
