Men's Lacrosse announces 13 commitments for 2012 season

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—The Birmingham-Southern College men's lacrosse program will welcome 13 new players to the Hilltop this fall, Head Coach Andy Bonasera announced today.

The 13 players hail from eight different states and include one high school All-American, as well as the first player from British Columbia, Canada, to join the program in its fourth season.

"These student athletes come from every corner of the country--north, south, east and west," Bonasera said. "I'm excited about the diversity of this class, and to now have four recruiting classes on campus. All of these young men will make an immediate impact to the team competing for an SCAC championship and a bid to the NCAA tournament in 2012."

The members of the incoming class are:

Erik Klein, Attack (Coquitlam, B.C./Dr. Charles Best)
