Panthers Fall 9-6 on the Road at Centre

DANVILLE, Ky. – The Birmingham-Southern men's lacrosse team dropped its Southern Athletic Association road game at Centre College 9-6 on Friday night.

Junior Taylor Carson (Birmingham, Ala./Mountain Brook HS) led the Panthers offensively in the loss, scoring three goals. Carter McAlpin (Trussville, Ala./Hewitt-Trussville HS), Peyton Taylor (Vestavia Hills, Ala./Vestavia Hills HS) and Braden McCombs (Hoover, Ala./Hoover HS) scored the Panthers other three goals.

McAlpin finished the game with a team-high three assists.

Senior goalie Matt Quill (Fort Mills, S.C./Coker College) recorded 11 saves in the defeat.

With the loss, BSC drops to 5-6 overall and 0-2 in the SAA. The Panthers will travel to Sewanee for another SAA contest on Sunday, March 31.
