Panthers play to 1-1 draw with Rhodes

MEMPHIS, Tenn.—The Birmingham-Southern men's soccer team drew even with Rhodes College on the road today, 1-1. BSC now stands at 4-7-4 overall and 1-5-3 in the SCAC.

Neither team scored in the first half, and the Lynx struck first six minutes into the second half. BSC would not score until the 35-minute mark of the second half when junior Sean Head found the back of the net on a header to tie things up.

Both overtime periods were scoreless, and the game ended in the 1-1 tie.

Statistics were not immediately available, but will be posted here when they are.

The Panthers are at home next weekend, facing Oglethorpe on friday at 8 p.m., and Sewanee on Sunday at 2 p.m.
