BSC Eliminated by Berry in SAA Quarterfinals

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's soccer team fell to Berry College 4-1 in the Southern Athletic Association Tournament quarterfinals on Saturday afternoon.

The Vikings scored three goals in the first half and added another in the second half to eliminate the Panthers from the conference tournament.

Birmingham-Southern's goal, courtesy of Ryan Hepp (Homewood, Ala./Homewood HS), came late in the game in the 90th minute to end the Berry shutout.

Senior goalkeeper Galen Curry (Birmingham, Ala./Spain Park HS) finished the match with 10 saves.

Birmingham-Southern ends the 2018 season with a record of 10-6-2.
