MURFREESBORO, Tenn.--The Birmingham-Southern men's tennis team stayed alive Saturday in the Southern Athletic Association Championship with a 5-1 win against Berry.
The Panthers move to 7-7 with the win and will face Millsaps on Sunday at 9 a.m. in the fifth-place match.
BSC won at the top two doubles spots, with senior Sawyer Voges and freshman Patrick Hire combining to win 8-2, and juniors Christian Matthews and Tony DaMaia winning 8-4.
In singles play, Voges and Matthews won in the one and two positions, and Hire won at three singles. The other three singles matches went unfinished.
