MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – Birmingham-Southern men's tennis closed out play at the ITA Atlantic South Regional on a high note. Hunter Hoffmeister (Longwood, Fla./Orangewood Christian HS) won his singles bracket going 4-0 in singles play at the tournament.
Hoffmeister took his semifinal match against Berry College's Peyton Brooks (6-3, 6-0) before battling out his win over Tyler Kelly (6-3, 6-4) from Covenant College.
In doubles play, Alex Wisener (Horton, Ala./Douglas HS) and Anthony Pellegrini (Huntsville, Ala./Huntsville HS), as well as, Isaac Eck (Boca Raton, Fla./Home Schooled) and Jameson Bekaert (Johns Creek, Ga./Rivers Academy) advanced to the quarterfinals of the Flight A Consolation bracket.
