BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Birmingham-Southern men's indoor track and field started its season on a high note. The Panthers performed well at the 2018 BSC Indoor Icebreaker Friday, and now prepare to train hard before the new year and next round of meets.
Kameren Morgan (Bowie, Md./St. Alban's School for Boys) broke his previous personal record in the weight throw by over 1.5 meters to finish as the top attached competitor. His distance of 19.40m was good for second overall and is a potentially national qualifying mark.
On the track, Garrett Talley (Collierville, Tenn./Collierville HS) won his heat of the 800m run in 2:02, just two seconds off his personal record.
