Day One results from 2013 NCAA Women's Golf Championship

SANDESTIN, Fla.–After one round of the 2013 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship at Baytowne Golf Club in Sandestin, Fla., No. 18 Birmingham-Southern is in 15th place, led by sophomore Jesse Lawley who is tied for 15th after shooting a 78 today.

The Panthers carded a 342 today, six strokes behind No. 25 Olivet. No. 2 Mary Hardin-Baylor leads the way with a team score of 306, followed by No. 11 Texas-Tyler with 309 and No. 1 Methodist with 318. No. 8 Centre, the only other SAA school in the tournament, stands at ninth after shooting 328 today.

UT Tyler's Laura Lindsey leads all individuals with 72, followed by No. 4 DePauw's Paige Gooch and No. 5 George Fox's Kelsey Morrison with 73.

Play continues tomorrow with round two teeing off at 7:30 a.m. The first BSC player, senior Michelle Morris, will tee off at 12:50 p.m.
