ROME, Ga. – The Birmingham-Southern women's golf team placed third at the 2018 Berry/Chick-fil-A Collegiate Invitational on Tuesday.
The Panthers shot a two-round 636 as a team to finish +60, 15 shots off the leader Shorter.
Sophomore Emma Phillips (Brentwood, Tenn./Brentwood HS) led BSC in the tournament, earning a spot on the all-tournament team by shooting 74 and 81 to finish +11, tied for fourth place.
Senior Sarah Moon (Cordova, Tenn./St. George's Independent School) also finished in the top 15, tying for 11th place at +14.
Four of BSC's six golfers finished tied for 23rd or better.
The Chick-fil-A Collegiate was the final tournament of the fall for the Panthers. Birmingham-Southern's year will pick back up again in the spring with a schedule to be announced at a later date.
