Chambers, Phillips Named All-American Scholars

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women's golf sophomores Alexis Chambers (Ft. Payne, Ala./Ft. Payne HS) and Emma Phillips (Brentwood, Tenn./Brentwood HS) were named Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars. 

Members of the WGCA All-American Scholar Team must have a minimum GPA of 3.50.  Chambers holds a 3.80 and Phillips has a 3.73 GPA, respectively.

Phillips averaged a team low 80.25 this past season playing 16 rounds.  Her season low round score of 74 helped her earn a season-best place of fourth at the Chick-fil-A Invitational. 

Chambers season low round score of 75 was posted at the BSC Southern Shootout.  Her best finish was fifth at the 2019 Southern Athletic Association Championships.
