MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women's lacrosse team fell to Division II's Montevallo 16-7 on Tuesday night, dropping to 0-3 on the season.
Freshman Lizzie LaVangie (Jacksonville, Fla./Darlington School) and junior Jade Cox (Rome, Ga./Darlington School) led the Panthers with three goals each. Senior Katie Gleeson (Franklin, Tenn./Franklin HS) scored BSC's other goal.
Sophomore Alexus Howard (Spring Hill, Tenn./Franklin HS) got the start in goal for the Panthers, recording five saves.
Birmingham-Southern will travel to Piedmont for its next game on Friday, Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. ET.
