Women's Soccer Earns Academic Award for 2018-19

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Birmingham-Southern women's soccer program was recognized by the United Soccer Coaches for the 2018-19 academic year, the organization announced.

BSC earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award, achieving a 3.51 team GPA for the 2018-19 school year. Birmingham-Southern was one of among 648 women's programs across all NCAA divisions to earn the award.

In order to earn the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award, teams must post a GPA of 3.0 or higher. This is the second straight year the women's soccer team has been honored with the award and the 14th time since 1998.
