Women's Tennis garners ITA All-Academic honors

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.—Three Birmingham-Southern women's tennis players, as well as the entire team itself, have been honored by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) for academic achievements during the 2010-11 year.

Payton Gartman, Emily Holst, and Raeann Lamere all were named ITA Scholar-Athletes, which requires a 3.50 or better grade point average. The Panthers were also named an ITA All-Academic Team for achieving an overall GPA of 3.20 or higher.
