Women's Tennis picks up three commitments for next season

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women's tennis program has received commitments from three players for next season, Head Coach Ann Dielen announced today.

Emily Holst, Moya Moore, and Laura Shull have completed their intent to enroll at BSC and play for the Panthers next year.

Holst, from Sheridan High School in Sheridan, Wyo., is a two-time state champion at number one singles, as well as a four-time All-Region and All-State honoree.

Moore will come to the Hilltop from Crestview High School in Baker, Fla.

Shull, out of Springfield High School in Springfield, Ill., was named 2009 CS8 Girls Tennis Player of the Year and was a high school state qualifier all four years at SHS. She was named All-State in 2008 and 2009 and was the sectional and conference winner in 2009. Shull went 28-2 in singles play as a senior. She also received several academic honors, such as Illinois High School State Scholar and the Prairie State Achievement Award in Math and Science.
