Women's Tennis falls to Colorado College, 5-4

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark.—The Birmingham-Southern women's tennis team's first trip to the SCAC post-season resulted in a sixth-place finish in the 2012 SCAC Championship. The fifth-seeded Panthers fell to seven seed Colorado College today, 5-4, and finish the season 11-9.

On the final day of the tournament held at the Burns Park Tennis Center in North Little Rock, Ark., BSC split the singles matches with wins from junior Raeanne Lamere, sophomore Emily Holst, and sophomore Terria Punturo. In doubles, the Panthers would earn one win from the team of Lamere and Punturo with an 8-5 victory.
