UAH Clips BSC Women’s Tennis, 5-4

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Birmingham-Southern lost a hard fought 5-4 dual match to NCAA Division II Alabama-Huntsville to open the 2013 Women's Tennis season Wednesday at the BSC Tennis Complex.

UAH led 2-1 after the doubles with Moya Moore and Emily Holst claiming the point for BSC with an 8-4 win over Jessica Groupierre and Lina Carjaval.  The singles were split with BSC's Moore, Sara Cohen and Holst claiming wins for BSC.

Birmingham-Southern opens Southern Athletic Association play at Millsaps College on Sunday at 9 a.m.
