  • BSC Upsets No. 16 Berry in 3-0 Sweep

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala.  – The Birmingham-Southern women’s volleyball team pulled off the upset of the season when they handed No. 16 Berry College its first Southern Athletic Association loss in a 3-0 sweep Saturday afternoon in Bill Battle Coliseum.  The Panthers (19-5) secured second place in the league with the win and close conference play with a 12-2 record.
  • Panthers Overwhelm Oglethorpe in 3-0 Sweep

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala.  – The Birmingham-Southern women’s volleyball team held Oglethorpe University to just 22 earned points while putting up 65 in their 3-0 sweep Friday night.  The Panthers improved to 18-5 overall and 11-2 against Southern Athletic Association opponents with the win.
  • BSC Sweeps Millsaps 3-0

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala.  – The Birmingham-Southern women’s volleyball team improved to 17-5 after sweeping Southern Athletic Association rival Millsaps College 3-0 Wednesday night in Bill Battle Coliseum.  The Panthers are now 10-2 in conference play with the win.

    SEWANEE, Tenn.  – The Birmingham-Southern women’s volleyball team moved to second in the Southern Athletic Association with its 3-1 win over Sewanee Saturday afternoon.  The Panthers (16-5) are now 9-2 in conference play.

    DANVILLE, Ky.  – The Birmingham-Southern women’s volleyball team started strong on the road against Centre College Friday night in Southern Athletic Association play, allowing just four points in the first set.  BSC (15-5, 8-2 SAA) went on to sweep the Colonels 3-0 in straight sets.

    CONWAY, Ark.  – The Birmingham-Southern women’s volleyball team fended off Hendrix College Saturday afternoon to win 3-1 on the road.  BSC (12-5) is now 6-2 against Southern Athletic Association opponents and sits third in the league.
  • BSC Outlasts Maryville in 3-1 Win

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala.  – The Birmingham-Southern women’s volleyball team rebounded from dropping set one against Maryville College to sweep the next three sets for its 3-1 win in Bill Battle Coliseum.  The Panthers (12-5) outscored Maryville 76-51 in their final non-conference home match of the season.

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala.  – The Birmingham-Southern women’s volleyball team fended off a scrappy Sewanee to win 3-0 at home in Bill Battle Coliseum Sunday. BSC is now 11-5 overall and 5-2 against Southern Athletic Association opponents.

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala.  – The Birmingham-Southern women’s volleyball team dominated Centre College Saturday in a Southern Athletic Association showdown.  BSC (10-5, 4-2 SAA) swept the Colonels in straight sets, 3-0, after out-performing Centre in kills, aces, digs, blocks, and sideout percentage.

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women’s volleyball team fought tough against Southern Athletic Association rival Hendrix College Sunday before falling 3-1 in Bill Battle Coliseum.  The Panthers (7-4, 1-1 SAA) outperformed Hendrix in several categories, but were unable to pull out the win in a match with 40 ties.

    ST. LOUIS, Mo.  – The Birmingham-Southern women’s volleyball team closed out competition at the 2018 Washington University Bear Invite falling to No. 13 Carthage and Rose-Hulman 3-0.  Milea Ray (Alabaster, Ala./Pensacola State) was named to the all-tournament team.

    ST. LOUIS, Mo.  – The Birmingham-Southern women’s volleyball team competed well against tough opponents Friday at the Washington University Bear Invite.  The Panthers defeated Nebraska Wesleyan 3-0 before falling to host No. 19 WashU in the night cap.

    MEMPHIS, Tenn.  – The Birmingham-Southern women’s volleyball team improved to 4-0 with a pair of wins in day two of the Rhodes Invitational Saturday.  BSC defeated Brevard 3-0 before taking down Dubuque 3-1.
  • Volleyball Sweeps Day One of Invite

    MEMPHIS, Tenn.  – The Birmingham-Southern women’s volleyball team opened its 2018 season 2-0 after sweeping both Rust College and Huntingdon College in straight sets, 3-0, in day one of the Rhodes Invitational.  The Panthers (2-0) saw four hitters finish the day with double-digit kills.
