BSC Places 82 on SAA Academic Honor Roll
February 08, 2019BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southern Athletic Association announced its 2018 Fall Academic Honor Roll and Birmingham-Southern Athletics had 82 student-athletes recognized. To earn the honor, student-athletes must have a 3.25 grade point average or higher at the end of the semester. -

November 09, 2018MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – No. 21 Birmingham-Southern volleyball ended its season with a 3-1 loss to No. 22 Mary Hardin-Baylor in the first round of the NCAA Tournament Friday night. BSC finished the season 25-7, its most wins since 2015. -
Salter, Johnson Named AVCA All-Region
November 08, 2018BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Senior Jeneva Salter (Madison, Ala./Bob Jones HS) and junior Caroline Johnson (Lucas, Texas/Lovejoy HS) were named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association All-South Region, the organization announced Thursday. Salter earned first-team honors, while Johnson was recognized on the honorable mention team. -
NCAA Tournament: No. 21 Panthers Seeded Fourth
November 08, 2018BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – No. 21 Birmingham-Southern volleyball was seeded fourth in the South Regional of the 2018 NCAA Tournament. BSC (25-6) earned an at-large bid after finishing third in the region. This is the Panthers second consecutive trip to the dance, third all-time. -

October 29, 2018BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Junior Caroline Johnson (Lucas, Texas/Lovejoy HS) and freshman Ansleigh Dailey (Daphne, Ala./Bayside Academy) swept Southern Athletic Association weekly honors, being named defensive and offensive players of the week, the organization announced Monday. The pair helped the Panthers go undefeated this week with big wins over top 10 teams and regionally ranked opponents. -
Panthers Down No. 8 Emory to Win Invite
October 27, 2018ATLANTA, Ga. – The Birmingham-Southern women’s volleyball team finished the Emory National Invitational undefeated after topping Randolph Macon and host No. 8 Emory Saturday. BSC (23-5) outhit, out-aced, and out-dug both teams to close out the regular season on an 18-match win streak, going 3-0 against top 20 teams in the final two weeks. -
