Volleyball Sweeps Oglethorpe 3-0 for Road Win

Atlanta, Ga. – The Birmingham-Southern women's volleyball team swept Oglethorpe University 3-0 Saturday in Southern Athletic Association play to improve to 8-5 overall.  BSC is now 3-2 in conference.

 

Marjorie Ward (Winter Park, Fla./Winter Park HS) and Jeneva Salter (Madison, Ala./Bob Jones HS) led the front line with 13 and 12 kills, respectively.  Reilly Vought (Spanish Fort, Ala./Spanish Fort HS) paced the offense and finished with a match-high 38 assists.  Defensively, Caroline Johnson (Lucas, Texas/Lovejoy HS) led the back line with 13 digs.

 

BSC remains on the road.  They face Covenant College on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 6 p.m.
