MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – No. 21 Birmingham-Southern volleyball advanced to the semifinals of the Southern Athletic Association tournament Friday with its 3-0 win over Oglethorpe University.
Milea Ray (Alabaster, Ala./Pensacola State) and Ansleigh Dailey (Daphne, Ala./Bayside Academy) earned double-doubles in the win. Ray finished with a match-high 13 kills and team-high 12 digs. Dailey earned a match-high 35 assists to go with her team-high 12 digs.
The Panthers (24-5) will face Hendrix College on Saturday in a rematch of last year's semifinal. BSC split with the Warriors in the regular season. Hendrix leads the all-time tournament series 1-2.
