BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Birmingham-Southern women's volleyball is receiving votes in the American Volleyball Coaches Association preseason poll, the organization announced Wednesday.
"We are excited for our program to be on the national radar early this year," said Head Coach Haven O'Quinn. "Our strength of schedule is high and we look forward to seeing how our team matches up against several of the teams mentioned in this poll."
BSC ranked as high as No. 21 last year. The Panthers finished second in the Southern Athletic Association behind Berry College who is ranked 19th heading into the 2019 season. Also on their schedule in the upcoming year is reigning National Champion No. 1 Emory University, No. 6 Wittenberg, and No. 7 Colorado College
