Panthers Take 18th at NCAA Regional

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Birmingham-Southern women's cross country team finished 18th among 34 squads at the 2017 NCAA Division III South/Southeast Regional Women's Cross Country Championship on Saturday.

As a team, Birmingham-Southern recorded 505 points and finished the 6k race with an average time of 24:29.

The Panthers were led by senior Morgan Reynolds (Indian Springs, Ala./Westminster School), who placed 54th with a time of 23:14.5. And as it has been for much of the year, sophomore Marjorie Head (Columbiana, Ala./Shelby County HS) trailed right behind Reynolds placing four spots behind Reynolds for 58th. She finished the race with a time of 23:21.8.
