Head Earns All-Region Honors at NCAA Regional

MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – Three Birmingham-Southern women's cross country student-athletes competed at the 2018 NCAA Division III South/Southeast Regional Meet on Saturday morning.

Junior Marjorie Head (Columbiana, Ala./Shelby County HS) was the top Panther at the meet, placing 33rd and earning All-Region honors. Head finished the 6k race in 24:07.64. Head improved her regional placement from last season when she finished 58th.

Senior Margot Woolverton (Birmingham, Ala./Vestavia HS) and junior Megan Rasmussen (Headland, Ala./Providence Christian School) competed in the meet, as well. Woolverton placed 130th with a time of 26:40.32 and Rasmussen took 187th with a mark of 29:05.86.
