MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women's cross country team competed at the Montevallo Falcon Classic 6k race on Saturday.
Four Panthers ran in the event with senior Marjorie Head (Columbiana, Ala./Shelby County HS) finishing first for BSC. She ran the 6k in a time of 20:55.01 and placed 39th.
Megan Rasmussen (Headland, Ala./Providence Christian School), Caroline Teal (Blountsville, Ala./Oneonta HS) and Mary Emerson Owen (Baton Rouge, La./Episcopal School of Baton Rouge) also ran in the event.
Birmingham-Southern was not scored and did not receive a placement as a team.
The Panthers will compete in their next event at the UAH Chargers Cross Country Open on Saturday, Sept. 28.
