Sewanee, Tenn. – The Birmingham Southern men's cross country competed at the Southern Athletic Association Championship. The panthers had some standout performances during the SAA Championship.
Carl Albright beat his old PR for the fourth time this season.
Gavin Thornhill beat his old PR and placed in the Top 50.
Beck Wilkes competed to place in the top 25.
Griffin Riner had a season best time during the meet.
Albright recorded a time of 32:21 beating his old time of 32:23 at the UAB Blazer Classic. Thornhill recorded a time of 29:20 beating his old PR a third time this season. Thornhill placed 45
th in the event. Wilkes recorded a time of 27:53 placing him in 21
st place in the event. Riner recorded a season best time of 30:18.
