Birmingham, Ala – The Birmingham-Southern women's basketball team takes the victory against LaGrange College in the first game of the Richard Dardenne Memorial Classic Tournament. Cassady Quintana was everywhere on the court for the Panthers.
 
BSC battled it out against LaGrange in the first quarter finishing with 32 points. With an intense second quarter, the Panthers battled it out leading the first half 65-60. BSC started the second half strong outscoring LaGrange 31-20. LaGrange came into the fourth quarter outscoring the Panthers 21-14. Falling short in the fourth, BSC finished the game with a victory of 110-101.
 
Cassady Quintana had a standout performance recording 11 points, two steals, three blocks, and six rebounds. McKenna Buckner led BSC with 18 points adding on three steals and three rebounds. Anna Beth Giles led the Panthers in assist and rebounds recording seven in both categories. BSC had a total of seven players finishing in double-digits.
