BIRMINGHAM, Ala. –Birmingham-Southern women's basketball put together its seventh triple digit performance of the season in a 119-90 victory of Southern Athletic Association rival Hendrix College Sunday afternoon in Bill Battle Coliseum.
Leah Middleton (Decatur, Ga./St. Pius XH) dropped a career and team-high 20 points in the win. She also had six rebounds and tied for a game-high four steals.
Ryane Williams (Atlanta, Ga./South Forsyth HS) also earned a career-high with 17 points.
Cassady Quintana (Orlando, Fla./William R. Boone HS) netted the teams second double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds. The forward also tied a career-high with four blocks.
Alexia Hood (Birmingham, Ala./Alcorn State University),
Aukeivah Tellis (Pinson, Ala./Clay Chalkville HS), and
Brooke Westhoelter (Clearwater, Fla./Calvary Christian HS) rounded out the Panthers in double figures. Hood finished with 15 points. And Tellis and Westhoelter earned 12 and 11 points, respectively.
BSC (3-9, 1-6 SAA) travels to Berry College next. They take on the Vikings Friday and Saturday.
