MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's soccer team overcame a two-nil deficit to defeat Huntingdon College 3-2 on the road Friday night.
Alessandro Junior (Novo Horizonte, Säo Paul, Brazil/Saint Benedict's Prep School) put the Panthers on the board in the 65
th minute and scored the game winner in the 74
th minute.
Coleman Jennings (Vestavia Hills, Ala./Vestavia Hills HS) scored the tying goal in the 70
th minute and assisted Junior's game winner.
Trey Hines (Cumming, Ga./Lambert HS) and
Cesar Hurtado (Alabaster, Ala./Thompson HS) also earned assists in the win.
BSC (2-2) returns home on Monday to face MUW. Match time is set for 6 p.m.
