DANVILLE, Ky. – The Birmingham-Southern men's tennis team tried to battle back after dropping doubles 2-1, but could not close in on Centre College Saturday afternoon, falling 6-3. BSC (7-6) is now 0-2 in Southern Athletic Association play.
Hallett Green (Mobile, Ala./Mcgill Toolen) went undefeated on the day. He and partner
Tom Smith (Murfreesboro, Tenn./Central Magnet School) won No. 2 doubles 8-6. He went on to win No. 1 singles 6-0, 7-5.
Wilbur Dotson (Fairhope, Ala./Fairhope HS) also picked up a win. He came back in the No. 2 spot after dropping the first set to win 3-6, 6-4, 6-0.
The Panthers will continue play against Centre tomorrow at 9 a.m.
