DANVILLE, Ky. – Birmingham-Southern women's tennis fell 9-0 on the road at Southern Athletic Association rival Centre College Saturday.
Ashton Henderson (Birmingham, Ala./Laurel Springs HS) and
Sarah Rushing (Trussville, Ala./Hewitt-Trussville HS) sent their singles matches into tiebreak. Henderson win her first set in the No. 5 spot 7-5, but then fell 6-1, 1-0. Rushing also won her first at No. 6 singles 7-5 before dropping the second set 6-1 and the tiebreak 1-0.
BSC (6-5, 0-2 SAA) will face the Colonels again tomorrow, starting at 9 a.m.
