BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's tennis team fell 6-3 to Rhodes College Saturday afternoon. BSC (6-3) is now 0-1 in Southern Athletic Association play.
Hallett Green (Mobile, Ala./Mcgill Toolen) led the Panthers with two wins on the day. He and partner
Tom Smith (Murfreesboro, Tenn./Central Magnet School) took No. 3 doubles 8-4. He went on to win his No. 2 singles match 6-0, 6-1.
Elijah Ingleson (Marieta, Ga./Walton J) earned the Panthers other win at the No. 4 spot. He took set one 6-1 and then won the second 7-5.
The teams meet again tomorrow at 10 a.m. to finish the series.
