BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Top-seed Birmingham-Southern men's soccer concluded its 2021 season Friday, falling 4-1 to Centre College in the Southern Athletic Association Tournament semifinals.
Coleman Jennings (Vestavia Hills, Ala./Vestavia Hills HS) scored the Panthers' only goal, his 16th of the season, in the 88th minute.
Trey Kirksey (Cumming, Ga./Lambert HS) and
Pirmin Blattmann (Mountain Brook, Ala./Mountain Brook HS) assisted. Jennings was named to the SAA All-Tournament Team.
Centre led 1-0 at the half and scored three goals in 25 minutes in the second half.

Jack Hunt (Newnan, Ga./The Heritage School) had a career-high 10 saves in the loss.
The Panthers end their season, which included the SAA Regular Season title, with a 9-4 overall record, 5-1 SAA. The SAA Tournament concludes Sunday, April 18 at 3 p.m. when Centre meets Berry College.
