MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Birmingham-Southern men's tennis team lost a hard-fought 5-4 match to Oglethorpe Saturday afternoon in the Southern Athletic Association Semifinals. The match was played indoors at Adams Tennis Center due to weather.
The Panthers are 13-9 on the year.
Wilbur Dotson (Fairhope, Ala./Fairhope HS) and Hallet Green (Mobile, Ala./Mcgill Toolen) each went 2-0 on the day to lead the squad. Dotson and partner
Jameson Bekaert won at No. 1 doubles by an 8-3 score. Dotson claimed the No. 2 singles victory by a count of 6-3, 6-2.

Elijah Ingleson (Marieta, Ga./Walton J) notched an 8-4 win at No. 2 doubles. He garnered a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 1 singles.
Ingleson had a three-set match at No. 4, coming up just short. After falling to his opponent 6-4 in the first set, Ingleson rattled off a 6-0 win in the second frame, but lost a 6-0 decision in the third set.
