HOOVER, Ala. - The Panthers earned a fifth place finish in the 2022 Southern Athletic Association Cross Country Championships. The fifth place finish is the best finish for the Panthers since they placed third in 2015.
BSC had two student-athletes finish in the top 50 of the Championship. Noah Arrington finished first for BSC for the fifth time this year. Arrington placed 46th with a time of 28:52.2. Finishing just behind him was Gavin Thornhill placed 48th with a time of 28:57.2.
Rounding out the top five for the Panthers was
Holden Snyder, Hunter Siddle, and Keller Bishop. The three helped BSC climb up the rankings in the final minutes of the race. Also running for BSC was Jack Rodgers, Pyunn Ntwari,
Carl Albright, and Andrew Le. Although Pyunn's score did not factor into BSC's team score Ntwari earned a personal record for his run at the championships.
