Conway, Ark. – The Birmingham-Southern women's basketball hit the road to take on Hendrix College for the last week of regular season play. After collecting a win last time they matched up at home, BSC brought that momentum into this game and collected another win sweeping Hendrix for the year.
The Panthers started off hot in the first quarter outscoring the Warriors 29-10. BSC kept that energy going into the second quarter putting up another 20 points. Hendrix tried to make a comeback in this quarter scoring three more points than BSC. The Panthers continued to lead the game going into halftime 50-34. Birmingham-Southern continued a dominate scoring performance in the third quarter putting up 23 points. Hendrix tried to make a run in the fourth quarter by scoring 28 points, but BSC came out on top with a final score of 92-80.
Audra Putman led the Panthers in points dropping 16. Putman added on one rebound, assist, and steal.
Cassady Quintana held it down on the inside recording seven rebounds. Quintana added on eight points, three steals, and one assist.
McKenna Buckner was everywhere for the Panthers picking up 12 points, four rebounds, two assist, and two steals.
