BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women's tennis team swept Covenant in their match on Friday, February 18.
The Panthers took all of the doubles matches with two ending in 8-1 scores. The No. 3 duo of
Isabella Lambert and
Jenna Prater finished first, with No. 2
Sarah Rushing and
Maddi Stewart finishing next, both defeating their opponents 8-1. The No. 1 duo of
Ansley Turley and
Phoebe Shapard finished last with an 8-4 victory.
Every singles match was won in straight sets for the Panthers. The No. 2
Maddi Stewart finished first, followed by No. 1
Ansley Turley both with a 6-1 and 6-3 victory over their opponents.
