[FINAL RESULTS]
OXFORD, Ala - The Birmingham-Southern men's cross country team opened up the 2022 season with a strong start at the Jacksonville State Foothills Invitational. It was the underclassmen that led the charge in the event.
Freshmen,
Noah Arrington finished first for the Panthers and in 66th place overall in the event with a time of 17:21.57 in a 5K event. Followed closely behind him was
Gavin Thornhill who also finished in the top 100 with a 77th place finish with a time of 17:26.40.
Rounding out the top four for the Panthers was
Jack Rodgers and
Keller Bishop ranking 103rd and 127th respectively.
